Pulpit Rock is a very dramatic rock jutting out of the cliff. Three levels of lookouts provide different aspects of the 240 degree views into Govetts Gorge and the Grose Valley and over distant mountains and to Mount Banks.
The view from the lookout is unsurpassed.
Information boards at Pulpit Rock will describe the rare vegetation and landforms that surround you.
The walk down to the lower platform of Pulpit Rock is via a set of steep stairs, the view varies at each of the three levels.
Pulpit Rock Lookout can be accessed from the walking track from Govetts Leap or Evans Lookout or by taking Hat Hill Road at Blackheath. There are signs directing you to Pulpit Rock lookout.
The Cliff Top Track is one of the longer walks near Blackheath, and has constant views.
The track follows the rim of the Grose Valley and passes numerous lookouts with views of the Grose Valley and it's waterfalls. Each lookout giving their own unique perspective of the Grose Valley's dramatic cliff line.
